Yes we promised to give the ultimate winner a car and here you are, Miss Ernestina Boatemaa Asante, popular known as Boatemaa on the Miss Akwaaba Season 3 reality show, last Sunday 11th August, just after being crowned the Miss Akwaaba’24 winner on the night, was handed the key to a beautiful Toyota Vitz saloon car by Mr. Joe Osae, the CEO of Ceejay Multimedia, the organizers of Miss Akwaaba reality show.
We give all thanks to the Almighty God for bringing Miss Akwaaba Season 3 to a very successful end.
I personally would like to thank everyone who has in anyway helped to make Miss Akwaaba Season 3 a big success.
My first thanks go to the brave ladies who stood up to participate in Miss Akwaaba 2024. Yes I call them brave because I know how difficult it is to join in the grueling 13-week culture and tourism reality show like the Miss Akwaaba. Some of them travel long distances to the various tourist sites just so they could have an onsite experience with what they have been tasked to talk about. They sometimes also have to go see “Abrewa” to give them some more detail information about our cultural practices. Bravo girls and congratulations once again to all of you who manned up to take part in this great live tv show called Miss Akwaaba.
My next biggest thanks go to my wonderful hardworking staff at Ceejay Multimedia. You all did very well especially Mercy the chaperone for the contestants.
I also want to say a big thank to all our judges who took part in putting our contestants on their toes so they could give us a good delivery of what they have been tasked to do for each of the 13 weeks. And here I would want to give special thanks to our main judge Mr. Kofi Atta Kakra Kusi of the Ghana Tourism Authority for his immense contribution towards making Miss Akwaaba Season 3 a huge success. It’s no wonder you were one of the recipients of the Black Star Award at Akwaaba Fest’24.
I also want to say a big thank you to Madam Sharon Padi of Padiki Art Gallery for all the beautiful paintings she’s been giving out every week to the Simply the Best contestant of the night. I say big thank you too to Mr. Ali Ajami and his management team at Twellium Co. Ltd. for the drinks and biscuits which we presented as hampers every week to the Best Performer of the Day and Viewers’ Choice of the Week.
I reserve my biggest thanks though to the manager and management team of Volta Hotel and Dodi World, Akosombo for all the support they have been giving to Ceejay Multimedia and also to all the great programs we produce on CeejayTV namely The Next Gospel Star, Miss Akwaaba and the Akwaaba Festival. Thank you Mr. Stephen Ofori and your great staff at Dodi World and Volta Hotel.
Lest I forget, the 3 winners of Miss Akwaaba Season 3, namely Boatemaa, the 1st prize winner, Naa Adjeley, the 1st runner-up and Mina Aba, the 2nd runner-up have all been handed a free all expenses paid weekend stay at the plush Volta Hotel in Akosombo, kind courtesy the management of Volta Hotel and Dodi World, Akosombo. They are actually embarking on this special trip on Friday 16th August and in fact these lucky ladies are going to be chauffeured to Akosombo by my good self Joe Osae, the director of the Miss Akwaaba reality show. It was a promise I made during one of the weekly live shows.
My final thanks go to you the loyal viewers of the Miss Akwaaba show. We’re very grateful to you for being with us during all the 13 weeks of Miss Akwaaba Season 3. We hope to bring you some more in the coming years.
Let me take this opportunity to tell those young ladies out there to always endeavor to get themselves engaged in such reality shows when the opportunity beckons. Boatemaa in just 13 weeks of participating in this culture and tourism show and by dint of hardwork is now out there with her Car, a cool 10,000 cedis and a crown on top. She’s also going to play her role as a tourism and culture ambassador of Ghana. So please take a chance.
